Fangorn Friday Games

Welcome to the game section!

During the Fangormoot, every Friday, there will be games inspired by J.R. R. Tolkien’s works. You will find them in this section. There are going to be word search, mazes, and much more! The clues are also going to be posted here on this page.

The games are designed and created by Books from Fangorn for entertaining and educational purposes.

Here are the dates when games are going to be released:

  • Friday 19th – Can you help Sam and Frodo to destroy the One Ring? (a maze)

J.R.R. Tolkien’s Inspired Bingo

Did you know that Tolkien had originally named Frodo, Bingo Baggins? Bingo was the name of some of his children’s toys. Then he decided to change the name to the one we already know.

Thror’s Map: Finding the Differences

“The moon was shining in a broad silver crescent. He held up the map and the white light shone through it. “What is this?” He said. “There are moon letters here, beside the plain runes which say: five feet high the door and threemay walk abreast”.

Can you spot differences between Thror’s Map from the Spanish edition, with the original map draw by J. R. R. Tolkien? It is not necessary to know Spanish, the differences can be seen in the artwork.

Can you help Sam and Frodo to destroy the One Ring?

“Sam looked at him and wept in his heart, but no tears came to his dry and stinging eyes. ‘I said I’d carry him, if it broke my back,’ he muttered, ‘and I will’ ‘Come Mr. Frodo!’ he cried. ‘I can’t carry it for you, but I can carry you and it as well. So up you get! Come on, Mr. Frodo dear! Sam will give you a ride.”

Help the hobbits to destroy the One Ring by walking with them to Mount Doom. Be careful! Avoid the Nazgul and orcs!
